DRAFT Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Open Standards and Partnerships of Global University System (A Partnership for Providing University Education and Professional Development Globally and Equitably) May 2000
				Note by Takeshi Utsumi, Ph.D. Vice President for Technology and Coordination Global University System May 20, 2000 This draft was developed by Dr. Ihor Katerniak of the Lviv Institute of Management in Ukraine and Dr. Paul Lefrere of the Open University in UK for the operation of the European Regional Group of the Global University System. The drafting process was made during Dr. Katerniak's visit to the Open University with a travel grant from the International Research & Exchange Board (IREX), with funds provided by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. During his visit, the Open University organized the meetings with various parties. Similar MoU will be developed by other regional groups of the Asia-Pacific, North, Central and South America, Africa and Arab, and all of them will be consolidated together.
